This is an exciting year for Church of the Good Shepherd's Youth Group! We have a great group of teens and are welcoming any new youth, grades 6-12, to join us. The format of our year is changing a bit and we welcome input from you, our teens! We will continue to participate in outreach projects, play games, and engage in spiritual formation and the focus will continue to be on community. Come join us! Let us hear your voice! Youth Group All-Nighter
The All-Nighter was a great success and fun was had by all. We started with a little miniature golf in the dark and ended up with a spiritual morning walk throught the labyrinth followed by cereal, pick-up and blessed sleep!! We'd like to say a special thank you to Sandy Bremer for allowing us to splash around in her pool, play a little ping pong, roast marshmallows by the fire pit and generally be loud and have fun!

A Fantastic Mission Trip to Jamaica Queens, NY
We have returned from our Youthworks hosted mission trip in Queens. Two leaders accompanied 10 youth into the big city to serve in Queens & Brooklyn. We spent time working in a community garden, Green Gems Garden, and also weeding playgrounds in Corona Park.
Our time there was filled with meeting new people, making personal connections, God moments, worship, hard work, and lots of fun! Check out our picture gallery with some of out trip highlights.

Thanks to everyone who showed up for this November's Spooner House Service Project!
This year our wonderful youth served a meal at Spooner House, volunteered to assist at Loaves and Fishes, made a yummy pancake dinner for members of our parish on Shrove Tuesday, played rousing games of Bingo at a local nursing home and hosted a Spaghetti Dinner. Come join us for fellowship and fun! Regular Youth Group Meet Ups will resume in September 2015!
